Niin kätevä kuin Goodreads-sivusto onkin, on sillä myös huono puoli. Kun olen saanut hyvän kirjan luettua ja olen toipumassa kirjakrapulastani, osaa Goodreads ehdottaa uutta, vastaavaa kirjaa johon koukuttua! (ja masentua kun silleKÄÄN ei ole viittäkymmentä jatko-osaa..)
Näin löysin Tammara Webberin vain muutaman kuukauden vanhan Easy-romaanin, joka alunperin on julkaistu omakustanteena, noussut sitten suurten lehtien bestseller-listoille ja siten kiinnittänyt kustannusyhtiöiden huomion. Mahtavaa!
Kirjailija kertoo Easysta näin:

Taas yksi college-elämään sijoittuva kirja kaiken nielevällä rakkaudella, kyllä. Ehkä luen loppuvuoden vain tällaisia ja laadin sitten top 10 -listan suosikeistani =D. Easy ei ole niin mielettömän hyvä kuin Beautiful Disaster, mutta melko lähelle menee. Easyssa on myös vakavampia teemoja, naisen oikeus omaan vartaloonsa, kun luotettavan oloinen tuttava yrittää raiskausta. Kirja nostaakin hyvin esille sen, miten ihmiset kääntyvät tällaisissa tilanteissa toisiaan vastaan ja epäilevät toistensa sanaa.
Ja mikä parasta, tarina sisältää itsetietoisen kissan ;D
